Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology. As a key member of our team, you will provide inpatient consultative care for patients with kidney disorders, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and trainees to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Functions

* Rounding on patients with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or kidney transplant recipients
* Attending clinic sessions and rounding on chronic dialysis shift patients in community settings
* Maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with healthcare teams
* Educating patients about medical conditions and treatment plans
* Participating in research and development projects, as well as education of nurse practitioners and medical students

Requirements

* Master's Degree in Nursing and graduation from an American Nurses Association (ANA) approved Nurse Practitioner Program
* Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license to practice in the State of Ohio
* Valid DEA license
* Three (3) years of nursing experience
