Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced CSA QA/QC Professional to ensure that all civil, structural, and architectural aspects of our construction projects meet the highest quality standards. This role will be responsible for overseeing quality planning, inspections, documentation, and compliance monitoring, as well as working closely with the construction team and other key stakeholders to address any quality-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Planning: Develop and implement quality plans and procedures for construction and inspection processes. Define quality standards that align with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and structural elements to ensure compliance with project specifications. Oversee site inspections, laboratory tests, and field testing to verify quality.
- Document Control: Manage and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for audits and reviews.
- Deficiency Identification and Resolution: Identify defects or deficiencies in construction work and coordinate corrective actions with the construction team. Follow up on issues to ensure they are effectively resolved.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Stay updated on building code changes and industry advancements.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate quality requirements and resolve any quality issues. Lead regular meetings to ensure alignment on quality matters.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to construction staff on quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance and control activities, including non-conformance reports, corrective action plans, and final quality assessments. Ensure proper documentation for project audits and final evaluations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall construction quality. Review past projects to incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and control within the construction industry, particularly in civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
