About the Role

Market of Choice is a rapidly growing, family-owned, local company with a strong commitment to excellence and employee development. We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Beverage Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage the wine, beer, and specialty coffee departments to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct quarterly inventory and meet and exceed sales goals, ensuring optimal product availability and pricing.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to select, order, price, and market products, staying up-to-date on industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selection and recommendations, and maintaining a deep knowledge of beer, wine, and coffee.
  • Organize, stock, and face the Beverage Department, ensuring a visually appealing and well-maintained sales area.
  • Process deliveries and log invoices daily, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks, including spot mopping, shelving, grinders, bins, signs, and coolers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the beverage industry, with a strong knowledge of beer and wine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
