Job Description

The Quality Assurance Inspector maintains the flow of quality products by performing product acceptance for incoming, in-process, and completed components/assemblies. This role requires the application of knowledge and expertise in inspection methodologies, collaboration with internal/external customers, and documentation of inspection activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducts tests, inspections, audits, and validations to accept incoming material/in-process inspection/completed assemblies;
  • Performs visual and measurement tests to confirm adherence to specifications;
  • Rejects unacceptable materials and provides feedback to suppliers/production staff as required;
  • Maintains quality records, reports, logs, test data, and other associated paperwork;
  • Participates in educational opportunities to update job knowledge and stay current with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (required);
  • 3+ years related experience to include experience using sophisticated dimensional measurement instruments;
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality system and quality processes;
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret prints/drawings and other technical documents;
  • Ability to use most inspection tools, measuring and test equipment.
