This Customer Experience Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join Gap Inc. and create unforgettable experiences for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will interact with customers to provide personalized service and promote our brand. Your goal is to exceed customer expectations while driving sales growth.
- You will develop strong relationships with customers by providing attentive service and making personalized recommendations.
- Serve as a role model by achieving store priorities with the customer at the forefront.
- Support the store leadership team to ensure seamless collaboration among employees and timely completion of tasks.
- Become a subject matter expert in a specific functional area and share your expertise with the team.
- Assist with various tasks before or after store hours, including opening and closing duties.
- Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and brand offerings
- Utilize technology effectively to engage with customers and meet sales goals
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain a professional demeanor in handling complex customer interactions
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store objectivesWhat You'll Do:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Stay informed about store events, promotions, and visual merchandising displays to make recommendations to customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive work environment by contributing to a culture of respect, inclusivity, and open communication.
- You have successfully completed job readiness training through one of Gap Inc.'s nonprofit partners.
- You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively utilize technology to engage with customers and colleagues.
- You are a problem-solver who continuously seeks opportunities for growth and improvement.
- You can handle customer interactions and potential issues professionally and courteously.
- You can learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on location and experience.
