Job Summary

The Financial Director will oversee all financial aspects of our property management operations. This includes financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support business growth and profitability. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the overall financial health of the organization, inclusive of preparing monthly branch financials, the annual branch budget, and quarterly branch forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly branch financials, the annual branch budget, and quarterly branch forecasts.
  • Provide leadership and department supervision to a high-performing accounting team of portfolio accountants, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Oversee operations of the finance team, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Oversee online payment support process by monitoring customer tickets, coaching analysts on responses and actions, and responding to escalated concerns.
  • Create monthly and quarterly forecasts based on known or potential risks and opportunities.
  • Interpret complex transactional data and provide financial reports and guidance to leadership.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.
  • 5-8 years of progressive financial reporting and analysis experience.
  • Strong, demonstrated use of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools.
