Production Operator

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, meeting production standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities- Operate Equipment Safely: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment, adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
- Meet Production Standards: Demonstrate the ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeframes.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaces, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Quality Control: Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including manual and visual quality inspections of products as assigned.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean equipment and areas before, during, and after shifts, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Product Sorting: May be responsible for sorting products as needed to ensure quality shipments.
- Changeovers: Assist in changeovers when needed, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Cross-Training: Responsible for cross-training across multiple operations, such as presses, palletizers, seamers, and/or slitters.
- Team Collaboration: Work directly with team members to meet all safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to load and unload material into machinery repeatedly, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Continuous Shift Operation: Work 12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm, with varying schedules (3 days one week, 4 days the following week).
- Effective Communication: Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and taking measurements.
