Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. You will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Your leadership skills and keen eye for detail will ensure our machinery and equipment runs smoothly, reducing downtime and maximizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance and repair work, including preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.
  • Manage maintenance inventory, ensuring adequate stock of critical spare parts and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and practices, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to coordinate equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, using your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on maintenance activities and equipment status.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical maintenance, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure safety compliance and conduct risk assessments.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
