We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Associate to join our Trench Safety team at American Rental Association. As an Equipment Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trench safety equipment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Preparation and Maintenance: Assemble, load, and unload equipment, assist with deliveries, and prepare equipment for rental.
  • Rental Equipment Inspection: Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with customer inquiries about equipment, and suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
  • Delivery and Return Verification: Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience: Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required.
  • Skills: Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
