The Renovation and Projects Technician is a key member of the M5c7 team, responsible for executing renovation and turnover tasks as directed by the Turns and Projects Team Supervisor. This role involves hands-on work to prepare vacated or new units for potential tenants, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform renovation and turnover tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Follow work orders and instructions provided by the Turns and Projects Team Supervisor.
- Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified timelines.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the Turns and Projects Team Supervisor regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Assist with the delivery and organization of materials and supplies as needed.
- Provide support for other team members as required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, renovation, or a related field.
- Proficiency in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment.
- Ability to work on construction sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
