Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians and technicians in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient exams, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including restraint, medication administration, and monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist with laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other team members
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift and move patients and equipment
