Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of professionals. As an SLP at At Home Therapies, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing comprehensive speech therapy evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech therapy evaluations to assess patients' communication skills and develop treatment plans to address identified needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language, and cognitive-communication abilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state where services will be provided.
  • Experience working with patients in home-based settings, preferably in a rehabilitation or home health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to travel to patients' homes, with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
