Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role is essential in supporting various sales functions within the organization. The Customer Service Representative will manage order processing and assist territory managers in expanding their business by providing outbound communication, customer insights, sales reporting, and necessary documentation support. This position plays a crucial role in client acquisition, customer service, and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders received through various channels promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor open Purchase Orders and communicate updates to Territory Managers.
  • Input orders into the ERP system and verify order statuses, ensuring effective communication with customers.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to address customer inquiries and special requests.
  • Maximize order volume through strategic upselling of products.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Provide comprehensive sales and service support to customers and Territory Managers.
  • Assist Territory Managers with CRM system management and updates.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding pricing, products, and service opportunities.
  • Participate in sales team activities, including meetings and events.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing content as needed.
  • Fulfill other administrative duties as required.

Education & Experience:

Post-secondary education and/or relevant business experience are preferred. A background of 3-5 years in customer service roles is advantageous, especially in sales or marketing contexts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, along with a consultative selling approach and familiarity with CRM systems.
