Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Echocardiographer PRN to join our team. As an Echocardiographer I, you will assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing procedures upon the request of the physician and according to departmental demands.
Responsibilities- Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal, stress echo (treadmill or pharmacological), cardiac Doppler, and color flow Doppler.
- Responsible for performing quality echocardiographic exams.
- Enters echocardiographic data into structured reporting template and prepares paperwork for physician interpretation.
- Maintains ultrasound equipment and documents required data.
- Works under appropriate supervision of a credentialed sonographer only.
- Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care, or the services delivered.
- Uses Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety.
- Certificate from Ultrasound school or program.
