Job Title: AAC Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated AAC Consultant to join our team at PRC-Saltillo. As an AAC Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals who use or could benefit from our communication solutions.

Job Summary:

The AAC Consultant will be responsible for developing relationships with new customers and promoting our products and services. You will engage in regular outreach activities, build and maintain relationships with existing customers, and drive new opportunities into the pipeline. Additionally, you will provide education and demonstration related to our products, unique vocabularies, services, and implementation through various meetings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in regular outreach activities to develop relationships with new customers and promote our products and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships and regular communication with existing customers to support their needs and uncover new opportunities.
  • Drive new opportunities into the pipeline using defined daily behaviors and activities to achieve revenue goals within an assigned territory.
  • Support the team throughout the process of acquiring a communication device by providing evaluation consultations, guiding the team through trialing a device, educating the team about funding requirements, and training the team on use and implementation of the device and our services.
  • Provide education and demonstration related to our products, unique vocabularies, services, and implementation through various meetings and presentations.
  • Implement a consultative solution-based sales approach for territory development.
  • Manage trial and loan equipment throughout the territory.
  • Maintain knowledge of our product and services, AAC trends, and best practices with sales and territory management.
  • Attend and manage participation at conferences and networking activities within the territory.
  • Manage territory expenses within expectations.
  • Maintain professional visibility throughout the territory.
  • Attend and participate in company, department, and team meetings.
  • Follow the company's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or related field is required.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years working in the field of AAC or Assistive Technology is required. Experience with our AAC solutions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AAC principles and solutions is required.
  • Experience participating in AAC evaluations is preferred.
