Job Overview

The Corrosion Specialist will be responsible for conducting cathodic protection surveys, corrosion control services, and corrosion inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements for gas pipelines and facilities.

This is a full-time position in Richmond, Virginia, with 10% out-of-state travel possible. The ideal candidate will have certification, diploma or degree in corrosion technology or related field, along with 2 or more years of experience with cathodic protection systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing regulatory-driven cathodic protection surveys and maintenance to ensure compliance and prevention program effectiveness.
  • Testing and troubleshooting cathodic protection system and equipment to ensure effective operation.
  • Assisting with interference testing and Close Interval Surveys (CIS).

Estimated Salary: $53,450 - $86,700 per year based on location and industry standards.
