Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality patient care, incorporating the latest research and evidence-based practices.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and improve the overall quality of care.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams, promoting effective communication and coordination of care.
- Caregiver Support: Provide education, mentorship, and resources to enhance the skills and confidence of nursing staff.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or equivalent; Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Certifications: Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL); Current BLS Certification required; ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
- Experience: One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare software.
