Premise Health is seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join their team in Gastonia, NC.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that involves providing direct medical care to client company employees and their family members aged 2 and older.
Key Responsibilities- Provide episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare to patients.
- Offer occupational health services, including post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams, and Worker's Compensation medical guidance.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- Educate and advise patients on medical issues as needed.
- Refer patients to internal or external medical resources or specialties as required.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor patient progress.
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record software.
- Formulate and administer health programs as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located.
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas.
- Current state and federal DEA certification.
- Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be required for some positions.
