We are seeking an experienced safety professional to support our operations in the Greensboro/High Point, NC area. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA guidelines, customer and company safety policies, and supporting administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily job hazard analysis and review with team.
- Walk site (to include roofs) and evaluate environment and employees for OSHA compliance and risk.
- Immediately correct risks.
- Communicate with site foreman and EHS Manager regularly.
- Complete site assessment forms and forward to EHS Manager.
- Conduct weekly tool box meetings.
- Perform AED & fire extinguisher inspections.
- Attend regular department meetings.
- Lead incident investigations and assist with injury reports.
- Review and inspect confined space and crane lifts.
- 2 years' experience in field construction safety industry.
- Must have OSHA 30.
- Be comfortable with MS Word and EXCEL.
- Able to take detailed instruction.
- Positive "can do" attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player.
- Good problem-solving abilities, communication skills, aptitude, and manual dexterity.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Flexible working schedule to support project needs.
- OSHA 510.
- OSHA 500.
