Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of agricultural products and equipment to and from our farm.

Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate and Maintain Vehicles
    • Operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and specialized agricultural equipment.
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Transport Agricultural Products and Equipment
    • Transport agricultural products, supplies, and equipment to various locations, including farms, markets, and processing facilities.
  • Adhere to Traffic Laws and Regulations
    • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating vehicles.
  • Assist with Loading and Unloading
    • Assist with loading and unloading of products and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain Accurate Records
    • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and deliveries.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely delivery of products and equipment.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with Other Farm Duties
    • Assist with other farm duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL and Clean Driving Record
    • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience as a CDL Driver
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL driver, preferably in an agricultural or related industry.
  • Knowledge of Traffic Laws and Regulations
    • Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to Operate and Maintain Vehicles
    • Ability to operate and maintain various types of vehicles and equipment.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to Work Long Hours
    • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons.
