Job Summary

Hillcrest Hospital - Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Ability to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens Aera/Skyra/Sola imaging equipment.
  • Knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
