Job Summary:

The House Supervisor is a key member of the PSN Affiliates team, responsible for overseeing the operations of the hospital's departments after hours. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Department Directors in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling facility activities.
  • Act as a liaison between departments, hospital administration, and staff.
  • Supervise the provision of nursing care clinically and administratively.
  • Play an active role in patient placement.
  • Complete required orientation as directed by the facility.
  • Follow facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment.
  • Respect cultural and religious practices of patients.
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations.
  • Punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed shifts.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • ACLS & PALS required.
  • Current nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience.
  • One (1) year of Orthopedics and Spine preferred.
  • Cognitive skills as related to the position.
  • Top-level customer service attitude and compassion for our patients and customers.
