We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription filling process.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain PTCB certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
