The Estimate Reviewer is responsible for reviewing submitted estimates, addressing rejections from insurance carriers or third-party administrators, and ensuring estimates meet the necessary guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review submitted estimates for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with insurance carrier and third-party administrator requirements.
  • Analyze and correct any rejections received from insurance carriers or third-party administrators, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly.
  • Follow up on the status of submitted estimates, working towards timely approvals.
  • Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and insurance representatives to resolve estimate discrepancies and rejections.
  • Ensure all estimate reviews and corrections are completed within established timelines.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all communications, revisions, and approvals throughout the estimate review process.
  • Stay updated on industry guidelines, insurance carrier requirements, and internal protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of estimates and approvals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in insurance claims, construction, home repair, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of insurance carrier and third-party administrator estimate submission and review processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review and correct estimates accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with estimating software and relevant documentation processes.
  • Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating platforms is a plus.
