Job Title: Part-Time Sleep Tech

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Sleep Tech to join our team at Aylo Health. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Sleep Center Manager, you will perform all types of sleep disorder testing, including set-up and performance of nocturnal polysomnograms (PSGs). You will also be responsible for demonstrating working knowledge of polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), oximetry, and administration of supplemental O2, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP and/or Bilevel) studies, and the basics of Sleep Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform polysomnographic recordings in preparation for physician interpretation
  • Apply and remove electrodes and other equipment used in conjunction with polysomnography
  • Operate and calibrate sleep equipment
  • Score polysomnographic recordings
  • Take patient vital signs accurately and recognize cardiac arrhythmias
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Must be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or have completed an A-Step program
  • Minimum 3 years full-time sleep tech experience
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently to assure patient comfort and satisfaction
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize, and facilitate many on-going tasks at one time
