Position Overview

The School of Professional Studies is in search of experienced professionals to develop and instruct the upcoming course titled The Technology Edge.

This role involves serving as a part-time Instructor.

Course Focus:
This course will explore the transformative potential of technological advancements that are poised to reshape our economy and society in the near future.

Key Questions Addressed:
- In what ways do innovations alter job roles and entire industries?
- What are the tangible effects of these shifts from executive leadership to everyday citizens?

This course aims to inspire a commitment to innovation, an understanding of its associated risks, and the empowerment of students to lead with foresight and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct engaging in-person lectures and facilitate instructional activities and discussions.
  • Assess student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address student inquiries and serve as the primary contact for academic concerns.
  • Maintain weekly office hours for student support.
  • New part-time Instructors must complete training on the Canvas online learning management system.
