Work Schedule Expectations:

  • Flexible full-time or part-time schedule

Compensation Structure:

  • Development of a ministry partner team is essential to secure the necessary prayer and financial support for salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
  • Training will be provided to help establish a team of ministry partners
  • Typical salary range is between $25,709 and $80,000 following the support development phase, depending on experience and other relevant factors

Role and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Internship Coordinator is to oversee the IFI internship initiative known as International Students as Equipped and Empowered Disciples (ISEED). The discipleship and training of international students are vital to achieving the vision of IFI. This position is part of the Central Ohio ministry team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the ISEED program by:
    • Setting strategic programming goals and determining delivery methods
    • Engaging with participants through various communication channels
  • Recruiting participants from universities and conferences
  • Building a diverse network of Christian mentors to offer spiritual and career guidance, fostering life-on-life learning experiences
  • Establishing an alumni program by conducting interviews with former participants and instructors, and creating an alumni newsletter
  • Participating in local ministry activities, such as leading a Bible study group for international students or providing one-on-one discipleship
  • Developing and maintaining financial and prayer partnerships to meet the budgetary needs of the role by sharing the ministry's vision

Qualifications and Spiritual Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated faithfulness, loyalty, and dedication to IFI's mission of extending God's love globally
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with diverse populations
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances

  • Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree
  • Experience in managing a training program
  • Cross-cultural experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
