Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Class B Front Load Garbage Truck Driver to join our team at Interstate Waste Services, Inc. As a Front Load Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a front load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials to a disposal, transfer or recycling facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a front load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections on the truck
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
  • 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid Class A or B CDL
  • Airbrake endorsement
  • 1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years
  • Great safety record and clean MVR
  • Experience as a driver or helper for a waste company is highly preferred
Working Conditions

Routes may require drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city locations. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job. Drivers will be required to climb in and out of the truck cab to service customer accounts.

What We Offer
  • $30.06/hour overtime pay after 40 hours in a work week
  • Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Approximate start time: 12AM
  • Full benefits package with PTO
