Job Description:

Actalent is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team in the Chicago O'Hare Greater Area, IL, USA. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment at customer locations.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, with support from a company specialist.

• Collaborate with customers to provide technical support, training, and guidance on equipment usage and maintenance.

• Provide feedback to the engineering team on recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance equipment reliability.

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies while on-site.

• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for service tasks.

• Travel to various customer locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering/Technician, Field Service Engineer/Technician, Maintenance or In-House Service experience.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role within the industrial machinery sector.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
