Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Supervisor to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing all production processes and assisting the Supervisor in establishing production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor materials and carts in unmarked locations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and escalating any issues that may arise.
  • Physically observe operators performing their job functions, comparing their work to visual aids and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Hold leadership teams accountable to documented processes and procedures.
  • Escalate any issues that are unclear or require further attention.
  • Adhere to Company Policies, including those related to employee privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Exercise leadership with tact, empathy, and respect, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure timely completion of training sign-off sheets for new documentation in JDOC.
  • Assist in coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control teams to optimize production and resource utilization.
  • Review and discuss production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify causes of nonconformity and operating problems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years' experience working on the production floor.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and email skills required.
