We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to premature and critically ill newborns.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage the vital signs and medical conditions of newborns in the NICU
- Administer medications and nutrients as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient
- Provide emotional support and education to parents and families
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest NICU technologies and best practices
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited nursing program
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
- At least 1 year of experience in a NICU or pediatric setting
