About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Control Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and families.

As an Infection Control Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans. You will also be responsible for conducting nurse visits, interpreting lab results, and managing patient care coordination.

We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and who is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in infectious disease management. Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans
  • Conduct nurse visits, interpret lab results, and manage patient care coordination
  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration as a registered nurse in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of one year of recent clinical nursing experience in a primary care or public health sexually transmitted disease practice
  • Minimum of one year of patient care coordination experience
  • Minimum of one year of patient telephone triage experience
  • Preferred experience in ambulatory infectious disease, HIV/AIDS, and team-based care
