As a Mover for College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, you will be the first point of contact for clients on the job. Your role will involve educating clients about our exceptional services and the benefits of using us over the competition, ensuring 110% satisfaction.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Mover. As a Mover, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment where you will be exposed to different types of professional work, including sales, marketing, logistics, customer service, equipment operations, project management, conflict resolution, and communication. You will be involved in learning techniques on how to develop rapport, establish value, and have a sense of accomplishment each day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring 110% satisfaction.
  • Operate safely at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily truck inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Price jobs aggressively, meeting and surpassing benchmarks.
  • Make logistical decisions, such as when to dispose of, what to donate or recycle, and how to best complete a job.
  • Lead your team by example, demonstrating the company's core values.
  • Help to train new hires on day-to-day operations and core values.
  • Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy clients, lost equipment, etc.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is able to lift 50 pounds with a team. You must have reliable transportation to and from work, a valid/active driver's license, and be eligible to work in the United States. You must also be drug and alcohol-free and able to pass a federal background check.
