Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver innovative and high-quality urgent and primary care to patients of all ages in underserved areas.
  • Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, order and interpret laboratory tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR system.
  • Perform assessments for workers' compensation, occupational health, DOT, sports, wellness, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Adapt care strategies to ensure all patients receive appropriate treatment options.
  • Communicate effectively with both patients and staff.
  • Work independently as a healthcare provider while collaborating with nurses, x-ray technicians, and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Offer guidance and support to team members as necessary, overseeing the completion of follow-up calls to monitor patient progress.
  • Utilize sound judgment to determine when to consult with a supervising physician.
  • Collaborate with management and operational teams to uphold medical policies and professional standards.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing the services provided at the clinic.
  • Possess at least one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in emergency care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in emergency care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in pediatric care is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions.
  • Current Iowa Nurse Practitioner state license.
  • Active DEA License.
  • DOT Physical Certification.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Your work hours and locations will vary based on staffing needs, with schedules provided a month in advance. Hotel accommodations will be covered if necessary. Our clinics are closed on most major holidays to allow for family time.
