Job Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Associate to join our team.

The Logistics Associate plays a crucial role in executing warehouse operations related to the handling of shipments, inventory management, and material distribution. This position involves loading and unloading goods and organizing items in accordance with delivery schedules.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and transport materials, supplies, and equipment to designated areas for inspection or storage.
  • Ensure that finished products from production are properly packaged and labeled according to standards.
  • Verify incoming materials against shipping documents, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Organize materials in designated storage locations, utilizing appropriate stacking and palletizing methods.
  • Inspect stored items and report any signs of deterioration or damage.
  • Conduct inventory checks to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.
  • Prepare materials for shipment by removing them from storage and packing them securely.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as required.
  • Confirm that shipping documentation matches the products being dispatched.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP software is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is essential.
  • Experience in picking and packing processes.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Proficient in data entry tasks.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
