Position Overview:

Support the Kitchen Manager in various aspects of the food service operations within the Quality Dairy Convenience Store, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction and Sales by delivering 'Customer Service +1'.
  • Provide prompt, friendly service with a welcoming demeanor.
  • Focus on customer service excellence.
  • Create a positive and enjoyable work atmosphere.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns swiftly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with management to adjust menu offerings based on sales trends to optimize sales and reduce waste.
  • Adhere to Quality Dairy's Operating Procedures to ensure a consistent and high-quality product for customers.

Operational Duties:
  • Ensure product availability for customers, including timely fulfillment of on-demand orders.
  • Perform essential Kitchen Manager tasks during their absence, such as food preparation and inventory ordering.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to complete all assigned responsibilities.
  • Communicate shift activities or concerns to the Kitchen Manager and store management.
  • Maintain product displays and marketing materials in accordance with company policies.
  • Be flexible with work hours as required.
  • Follow vendor check-in protocols and report any discrepancies to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Engage in stocking, cleaning, and food preparation tasks.
  • Execute opening or closing procedures for shifts.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to management as per policy.

Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all Food Safety Regulations and promptly report any concerns to management.
  • Keep all store areas free from safety hazards.
  • Identify and report any safety or security violations to the Kitchen Manager or store management.

Professional Conduct:
  • Exemplify professional behavior towards customers and fellow employees.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding store personnel and operations.

Essential Skills and Physical Requirements:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Collaborative skills to work with others effectively.
  • Judgment and decision-making abilities to address questions or issues.
  • Capability to read and implement policies and procedures.
  • Awareness of merchandising, safety, and personnel matters requiring attention.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods (6-10 hours) with limited breaks.
