Recreational Therapist

As a Recreational Therapist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in evaluating patient skills and needs, determining treatment objectives, and recommending goals/treatment plans to the interdisciplinary team. You will utilize the therapeutic use of self, activity modalities, and the environment to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient skills and needs to determine treatment objectives
Recommend goals/treatment plans to the interdisciplinary team
Utilize therapeutic use of self, activity modalities, and the environment to support patient care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy
Current National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification
One year of Mental Health experience preferred
