The Department of Surgery at the University of Iowa invites applications for a faculty position in Vascular Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing program at a multi-disciplinary, institutional center for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Surgery
  • Conduct research in vascular surgery and secure external funding
  • Provide clinical care as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved medical college
  • Completion of ACGME accredited training in General Surgery and/or Vascular Surgery
  • Board-eligible or Board-certified in Vascular Surgery
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in research and securing external funding
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dedication to enhancing an inclusive workforce and academic environment
