Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Unit at Saint Alphonsus Health System. This is a full-time day shift position, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Oncology Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on disease management and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Idaho.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
