We are actively seeking substitute nurses to join our team at Stonington Public Schools. This is a per diem position that offers a competitive hourly wage of $35.50.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified substitute nurse to provide nursing services to our students on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to students in a school setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor student health and report any concerns to school administrators
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special needs

Requirements:

  • Certification as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN)
  • Experience working in a school setting or with children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
