Job Overview

Salary:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and responsibilities:

  • Over 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • Experience in managing client relationships
  • Capability to review and prepare various Federal and state tax returns
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax reform laws and guidelines
  • Proficient in tax research, writing, and analysis
  • Develop client tax-saving strategies and offer innovative solutions
  • Expertise in navigating Federal, SALT, Sales & Use, and Property tax issues
  • Supervise and mentor Interns, Staff, Senior Staff Accountants, and Tax Supervisors
  • Proficient in utilizing tax research tools and resources
  • Strong understanding of tax theories and their applications
  • Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accepted accounting practices
  • Ability to quickly adapt to various cloud-based software solutions
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks independently or collaboratively
  • Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment and manage several projects concurrently
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn from seasoned professionals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software), Adobe Acrobat, and accounting software (QuickBooks and UltraTax preferred)
  • This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office responsibilities as determined by management and client needs.
