Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at Exceptional Children's Foundation. As a Pediatrician, you will provide medical care to children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk of having developmental delays, and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries in children ages 0-3.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories to provide comprehensive care.
- Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention to promote healthy development.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field to provide the highest quality care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine-Pediatrics residency and certification through the American Board of Pediatricians.
- 10 years of experience providing services to children ages 0-3 in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to assess developmental delays in children ages 0-3 years.
- Bi-lingual (English/Armenian or English/Spanish) communication skills.
- Valid Class C California driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Pass a DOJ/FBI background investigation.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
What We Offer:
Competitive pay range: $72,818.00 Annually to $90,189.00 Annually.
