Produce Associate

Weis Markets is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Associate to join our team. As a Produce Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-stocked produce department, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

• Maintain a clean and organized produce department, including rotating stock and ensuring merchandise is in saleable condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer questions and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.
• Assist in building attractive displays and maintaining the salad bar and cut fruit/vegetable as needed.
• Accurately complete necessary product logs and handle spoiled and damaged product according to company policy.
• Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist in minimizing shrink and controlling damages, reporting shortages and overages to management.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries, as well as baling cardboard or other related duties if properly trained.

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
