Job Description

This is a hybrid role that requires a consultant to work in the office one day a week, following return to work guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop full-stack applications using.Net Core and Angular 14+
  • Design and implement microservices architecture
  • Ensure security and logging for external users
  • Coordinate with related teams such as enterprise services, informatics, infrastructure, data modeling, testing/QA, security, and architecture
  • Assist team members with best practices and ensure they are followed
  • Ensure security, maintainability, and performance of the application
  • Mentor team members
  • Refine requirements and translate them into detailed design of data stores, components, and services
  • Assist PM with task breakdown, estimation, and assignment
  • Create functional and detailed design documentation
  • Assist with production problem resolution
  • Be a SME and single point of contact for PM, business, management, and security office/audit
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with.Net Core, Angular 14+, SQL, and microservices architecture
  • Experience with test-driven development, writing unit tests, and solid understanding of how to write testable code
  • Experience with improving code quality using code reviews, code coverage tools, and code analysis tools
  • Experience with using engineering practices that complement an agile approach
  • Experience working with TFS for source control, deployment/builds, backlog, and task management
Preferred Skills
  • API development experience
  • Java experience
  • Cloud upgrade/hosting on cloud (GCP) experience
