We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Gateway Rehabilitation Center. As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality substance use treatment and case management services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Trauma-Informed Treatment: Utilize evidence-based practices to promote trauma-informed treatment and support patients in their recovery journey.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Conduct Therapeutic Sessions: Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, to support patients in their recovery.
- Monitor Progress and Revise Treatment Plans: Regularly assess patients' progress and revise treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain Accurate Clinical Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation to support patient care and treatment planning.
- Establish and Maintain Referral Sources: Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to support patient caseload and treatment planning.
- Plan for Continuing Care: Identify and make referrals for additional care or services as needed to support patients' ongoing recovery.
- Monitor Insurance Authorizations: Ensure timely completion of insurance authorizations to support patient care and treatment planning.
- Achieve Productivity Goals: Meet or exceed productivity expectations to support the efficient delivery of patient care.
- Participate in Supervision and Training: Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to HIPAA and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all applicable provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health environment.
- Certifications and Clearances: Pass a PA Criminal Background Check, obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances, pass a drug screen, and obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Favorable Working Conditions: Work in a supportive and collaborative environment with minimal physical demands.
- Mental Demands: Manage stress and maintain professionalism in challenging situations while treating patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
