Jefferson Capital Systems is a leading financial services company seeking a highly skilled Chief Cybersecurity Architect to join our IT team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our organization's cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, managing risk, and ensuring the protection of our data assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors and consultants, to ensure seamless integration with our security posture.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Analyze threat intelligence and stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance our cybersecurity program.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity leadership roles, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing cybersecurity teams and projects.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Industry-recognized certifications, such as CISM or CISSP, are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
