Hyperbaric Therapist

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Hyperbaric Technician to join our team at the West Georgia Medical Center. As a key member of our hyperbaric medicine unit, you will be responsible for administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients, operating and maintaining the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems, and providing exceptional patient care.

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Certified Physician
• Operate and maintain the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems
• Provide exceptional patient care and support
• Participate in department and organizational performance improvement activities
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and families

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited school of EMT/Paramedic or equivalent medical training
• Certified Hyperbaric Tech within 2 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association
• 6 months or more previous experience in an outpatient clinic

• Strong clinical, communication, presentation, and customer relation skills
• Experience managing large complex projects and strong project management skills
• Excellent analytical ability and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and other staff
• Leadership and ability to motivate others
