Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company's exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits, and inspections.
  • Process Improvement: Support continuous process improvements plant-wide, including product quality, processes, and cost efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a Melt Shop environment with knowledge of continuous caster process and secondary metallurgy.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy or Material Science preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, problem-solving ability, and proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
