Job Description
As a Customer Assistance Representative, you will provide high-level customer service by assisting both internal and external customers. This will involve supporting their branch and rental needs primarily face-to-face. You will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide administrative support, serve customers, and act as a rental backup at our Truck Rental location.
Responsibilities
- Take incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, and answers
- Provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops, and other vendors
- Manage outgoing calls for callback management, A/Rs, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
- Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Provide directions and general assistance
- Assist in assessing the condition of rentals upon return
- Process returns and check-ins
- Effectively market the company while picking up or dropping off customers in a safe and courteous manner
- Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services
- May sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment
- Responsible for notifying management of any known vehicle problems and required vehicle maintenance
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years old and qualified to drive under DOT regulations
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship
