We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team at Minnesota IT Services. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and update information system security policies, guidelines, and technical standards.
- Experience with one or more operating systems (preferably Linux) and programming skills in one or more languages (ex: Java,.NET, C++).
- Develop software using software development methodologies, such as Agile, and knowledge of information security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001/17799, COBIT, ITIL, data privacy laws, computer crime laws, and statewide data protection laws.
- Deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties and provide customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an information security related role.
- A master's degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR a related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR a related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and certifications such as CISSP, CCE, GSFI, ENCE, GSEC, CISSP or other relevant information security certification.
